Selsey used to be a little known fishing village, famous for the locally caught Selsey Crab, however, over time it has grown to be popular tourist destination. Most who visit the area, spend time relaxing in the country pubs and eating in the local restaurants. The beach on both the west and east side is popular especially amongst the children. If you are looking for amusements, the Bunn Leisure Park offers a playground and a great Swimming Leisure complex which can be used by non residents.

Venture a little further and experience the Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve which is a great day out for adults and children. The historic Cathedral City of Chichester is only 8 miles up the road offering shops, bars, cafes, restaurants not to mention the famous Cathedral which is well worth a visit. If you like boating, Chichester Harbour is the place to be. Why not book a harbour tour at Itchener and marval at the beautiful scenary. If it's sandy beaches you are looking for the Witterings beach is famous for its miles of pollution free beaches.
